Raw vegan cuisine is quite hard to come by so you can imagine how excited I was to find this all raw vegan cafe just outside of Rawai in Phuket. This is the only all raw cafe that I have found since we lost Giva in Chiang Mai.

 

This place only lived up to my high expectations. The menu is huge with a range of options such as breakfast food, pizzas, Thai food such as Pad Thai or Somtam, burritos and finally the to-die-for dish which is the lasagne. All of this are 100% raw. It seems like magic to that they can make raw food taste as good as this.

 

The dishes all taste absolutely fantastic but the one that I have to really point out is the lasagne. It is one of the best meals I have ever had. I've had raw lasagne before but nothing has been comparable to this. It really does look and taste like a real lasagne. The mixture is nutty and scrumptious and the tomato topping with raw cheese is so tangy and flavoursome. I did not want the dish to end! Although the dish is filling and a good size, as all the dishes are, so you will feel full on this wholesome, natural food. You don't have to wait long either - real fast food is raw food and this place is the raw foodist's dream. 

 

They also have an amazing looking range of raw desserts and snacks in the fridge and freezer and of course a range of power juices and shakes. It is also a very pleasant place to sit that has been very well designed. You can sit in the front out by the road or out in the back area surrounded by the garden.
