The famous Taste from Heaven has re-opened in a new location on Ratchamanka road. I'm so glad it has. The food is Thai and Western, vegetarian of course and almost everything can be vegan. The menu options are huge ranging from starters, salads, curries, soups, desserts, western options, coffees and cakes and booze. All of this at cheap prices, what more could you want? I think you will be delighted.

On a recent visit, my friends and I were thrilled to see the first page asking if we are vegan, and that they can accommodate us - please ask. We thought it was great that they clearly identified what was either vegan (almost everything) or has a vegan option (this basically covers everything, except the ice-cream, but there are other vegan desserts on offer.) So a vegan and a vegetarian will both be more than satisfied!

Excellent service and great location right in the old city. There is nothing specatcular about the setting but the decor is cosy and pleasant. Just be sure to look out for it as you are going towards the end of Ratchamanka to the moat, look out for it on the left hand side of the road, you will not want to miss out! They can get very busy, and it isn't big, so it can be a little cramped or you might have to wait for a while during the high season times, it's worth it!

Unlike a lot of vegetarian restaurants Taste from Heaven does not close too early at 10:00PM.

This is my new favourite. I'm not surprised at all that it has become so popular since it first re-opened. Well deserved!
