Imm Aim has been quite well established for some time despite some changes. It was formerly known as Pun Pun some time ago and then more recently they moved from their location in the centre of Santhitam to another street about a kilometre away. It's still pretty easy to find. If you turn off the moat down to Santhitam temple take the next left after the temple and it is up the road on the left hand side. Although they no longer have the garden the restaurant is a cute place decorated with their bicycle theme and they have upstairs seating.
On to the food, I found it to be quite impressive particularly for the western food, the hummus and falafel being my particular favourite. They have a wide range including Mexican food, pastas and a large array of salads and dressings. The food here is mostly organic and wholesome so if you want a meal that is both healthy and tastes fabulous then this is the place to come.
They also sell Thai food, although they are certainly catering for more of a western palette and the Thai food isn’t raved about as much. They have breakfasts served all day, coffees, teas and lots of shakes. They used to have some amazing vegan desserts but they don't seem to be doing those anymore unfortunately.
A friendly family ownership provides a great service and meals arrive timely. My only regret is that it is not a night time spot as the kitchen closes at around 8.00 PM which can make it a bit rushed for dinner.
Imm Aim must-visit for any vegetarian or vegan in Chiang Mai.
Served all day.
My personal favourite.
