This is the sister branch (not sure which one came first) of the other restaurant with the same name that is based on the moat in the old city. This one is on Suthep Road. Both are known for their unusually late opening hours, right up until 10PM at night, this is particularly welcome since as all the others typically close in the afternoon.  

 

They have a few buffet dishes but the portions served are not that generous. We would instead recommend going for the normal menu of which there are ample choices and the portions are better and taste better. They have the menus up on posters around the restaurants and you can pick from a host of things that include about five different types of somtam (spicy papaya salad.)

 

They also have a lot of other typical Thai dishes and since they mostly cater to Thai customers the dishes are served spicy, be sure to warn them if you don’t like that. A fair amount of their trade will come foreign customers as well, due to its central location in a popular area.

 

As well as food they have tea based drinks, soy cereal drinks and other snacks available. Outside there is a little cart vendor selling mostly sweet stuff which is also all vegan.

We love that everything sold from this shop is 100% vegan. One of the best in area for local food.
