This Thai style jay restaurant is opposite Lamphun hospital and just up the road from Lamphun Will hotel. It is a small and quiet place but the noticeable thing about here is that they do not have much buffet food, you need to order it from the menu. The advantage here is that it is hot as well as fresh.

On my visit they did not have much choice except guay jap (ก๋วยจั๊บ) which are a kind of noodle made from rice flour, and the vegan version is made with large pieces of fried brown tofu, several varieties of mushroom all in a tasty sauce. I hadn't tried this before so I decided to give it a go and it was very good.

The owner is a very sweet and friendly lady and I enjoyed the food she made me. Worth checking out just for the guay jap noodles.
